Speaker 1:

So grab a glass of vino, join us as we raise our voices and our glasses Together. We'll dive into the drama of life as we see it. Happy 4th of.

Speaker 2:

July. Happy 4th of July.

Speaker 1:

We couldn't go another week without recording, so we're recording on a holiday.

Speaker 2:

Yes, 4th of July, Happy 4th of July. People Winers and while it is a holiday.

Speaker 1:

I'm drinking coffee because it's 10 o'clock in the morning.

Speaker 2:

I was actually about to make a Bloody Mary, but I go, let me wait till at least 11 to crack that bottle. So I got orange juice instead Good call.

Speaker 1:

Good call, it's Thursday, why not Just?

Speaker 2:

play it safe, slow roll the day. I'm definitely gonna be day drinking, but I figured you know start at a more reasonable time. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I am still tired and still just feeling the aftermath of our incredible family vacation.

Speaker 2:

Yes, which is what we will be discussing today on our podcast.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I just, I'm just still so I don't know why I'm so tired. You would think I traveled to like Australia or something and had this massive time change or something and had this massive time change.

Speaker 2:

I mean, you did endure a little more insanity than the rest of us at the end. So I think, the stress of that created a lot of exhaustion mentally for you, and mental exhaustion sometimes, I feel like, is worse than physical exhaustion.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, you're totally right. But it is now Thursday and I still don't feel normal. And we've been. Our trip ended on fucking Sunday. So what the like? When, like I'm so happy that I also took, and so fortunate, I love my job I took two weeks off from work, so I'm so fortunate that I didn't have to work this week, because I don't know how I would have done it. I just don't know.

Speaker 2:

Wow, you're nuts.

Speaker 1:

That's crazy. So that was a smart move.

Speaker 2:

That was a smart move.

Speaker 1:

Yeah Well, next week is going to kick my ass when I have to get back to work after two weeks off.

Speaker 2:

Oh my God, I know right, You'll need a day off from that. You're gonna need a couple days off from having two weeks off.

Speaker 1:

I know what the heck.

Speaker 2:

Oh so crazy.

Speaker 1:

But where do we start? Like there's so much to talk about, when do we begin?

Speaker 2:

So let's let everyone know that we had our first family vacation 2024 cruise Yep.

Speaker 1:

We made it, we survived.

Speaker 2:

Yep, there were 17 of us and we all had our reservations about how this trip was going to go.

Speaker 1:

We're all a little concerned.

Speaker 2:

We had different areas of concern, different people to be concerned about. Yes, of concern, different people to be concerned about?

Speaker 1:

yes, however, everything was absolutely incredible. It was amazing.

Speaker 2:

It was fun. It was just. It was great. Again, I don't have anything negative to say about this trip at all. No, it was so normal. Nothing like, nothing like. We did stuff together as a family. We ate dinner together every night as a family. We had breakfast together most mornings yeah um, lunch was, you know a little.

Speaker 2:

I think we all love that um fish and chips place the most for lunch. Right, yeah, um, but we went on a royal caribbean cruise, the independence of the sea. So, um, out of miami, um, we went to coco cay island and bahamas. We swam with pigs. Then we went, we were at sea for two days. We ended up in Cozumel, which was amazing. Then we ended up back in Miami, um, as far as like the cruise itself, god, where do we start? I know?

Speaker 1:

there's so much like the boat, the activities, so one thing that I knew going into it, because you have access to like the app, the agenda, yeah, all the information about like things to do, where to eat, all of that stuff. So I knew going into it that there was going to be tons of things to like, choose from, to do right. I didn't realize until I actually experienced it, that every second of the day there is literally something to do. Yes, and it's awesome.

Speaker 2:

I love it. Yeah, you can't say that you're bored on a cruise.

Speaker 1:

Not this cruise anyway.

Speaker 2:

I mean, I've been on two other cruise ships. The first one I went on was a nightmare. The second one was awesome. It was an adult cruise. Then this one, and by far this one and the other one were the best yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

But yeah, so you have your app. You go on your app, there's a calendar and it's like everything's scheduled from 8 am, like 7 am to 1 pm and you can just pick what you want to do and put it on your calendar. Yeah, and that way, like you don't forget it's happening, but you don't have to do it.

Speaker 2:

It's just it's like a reminder of like oh, this is happening, that's happening, but it's like when one thing ends, another thing starts. When that ends, another thing starts. It's incredible. It when that ends, another thing starts. It's incredible it's the nightclubs. They have ice skating on the cruise ship. Like Egan, ice skating was one of the best freaking things I saw. That was so amazing how incredibly happy and excited he was to be on ice for the first time on ice skates On a cruise ship. Like, come on, first time on ice skates on a cruise ship. Like come on. I mean, if you're gonna ice skate for the very first time in the middle of the ocean on a cruise ship, I would say would be the best freaking place to go right yeah, so incredible, like so many people can say they ice skated for the first time like that.

Speaker 1:

I know it's crazy, yeah so, yeah, I think there were a lot of firsts for everyone in the family, so that was really cool too.

Speaker 2:

Yes, yes, for sure. For sure, and like just the, the, the unlimited flow of alcohol. That was just, oh my God. It was one after another, after another, after another. I'll tell you right now, like the day before we got to Miami was that Friday. I looked at Gary, I can't drink anymore. I'm saying this, I'm like I literally cannot consume another fucking alcoholic beverage. I can't.

Speaker 1:

Same when we were in Miami our very last night. It was you, myself and Scott, at the bar and we ordered drinks and that very last drink I was finding all of the courage to muster up and finish it.

Speaker 2:

I couldn't do it. That's why I was drinking. I ended up drinking sangria the last two days because I felt like it was like light refreshing. I wasn't going to wake up hungover. It's like drinking juice. So I'm like, okay, I'm going to drink. I'm going to drink something that is on the lighter side.

Speaker 1:

You know what I mean.

Speaker 2:

I didn't want to be a buzzkill. I'm like, oh, can I have water with lemon? But I mean, I'm thinking sangria is probably the most easiest, but I was done, I was done. I could not drink anything at all. It was crazy, but I mean, and even the food on the ship, the food was every single place. I don't know about you, but every single place I ate from was awesome. I had no complaints about the food. The food was very, very good quality. Yeah, service was amazing.

Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh we had, we encountered such great staff.

Speaker 2:

Yes, oh my gosh yes.

Speaker 1:

So cool, and that's. I think that's what I like about our family too. We're not just like surface level people. I feel like people would serve us like food or drinks and be like so tell me about your mom and dad or like how long have you been here?

Speaker 2:

I know we wanted to know everything about everyone that came to us, like every single person that like served us, were like hey, so let's talk, you know oh my god, a lot of us was people by the end of the week.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, there were so many people that just like knew us by, by name. They knew us by like the kids, and oh my gosh, it was incredible, is that, like after day two, you're walking down, you know a deck and they're like oh hey, like they recognize you yeah.

Speaker 2:

Ruben, ruben we saw him all over the ship and he was everywhere every time he saw us he's like, hey, what's going on? And now, now, like Ted is connected with him outside of the ship on Instagram, so that was really cool.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think it's just so funny. It was such such a good experience. But, yeah, between the activities and the food there was so much to pick from. I felt going into it. I was like, oh, I feel like there's going to not be like downtime, but you were stressed, you were stressed, going into it Because you're like, I don like there's going to not be like downtime, but you were stressed you were stressed, going in, I don't know what to do, I don't know where I'm going, I don't know, I don't know what to expect.

Speaker 1:

And then I was there and I was like having inner conflict, like oh, I want to go to this show, but I want to go to that trivia, like well, which do I pick? Or I want to go eat that, but I want to go eat that, which do I pick? There was so much to do, I wanted everything.

Speaker 2:

I wanted it all. Yes, that's right. Believe me, I was feeling that way too Like what was your favorite thing to do? Like during the day oh.

Speaker 1:

I mean for me the trivias were really fun. And they were the most fun for me because I didn't realize how much like everyone else in the family would enjoy it. Yeah, I felt like it was a good like fun family activity for us to all do. And we're obviously like super competitive. We love playing games, yeah, so like the trivias were really fun for me. Yeah, yeah, I like those too. It was so fun.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I really enjoyed being out in the water with Kaiser and the splash pads and running around with him and I feel like that's where I got the most sun, because if you think, about it. How often was I sitting down like doing nothing? Never.

Speaker 1:

Never, never.

Speaker 2:

So that's where I got all my sun, running around after him and splashing in the water with him, which I absolutely loved. Oh my god, that was so great yeah you were never sitting, you were never alone.

Speaker 2:

No, Gigan and I had sat when the kids, when they were going to take the kids to daycare, him and I sat on the top deck in the bar. We were just chatting and like because it was his first time being on a cruise and he obviously didn't know what to expect and yeah, I thought it was such an incredible thing, Like he was excited that he could still like get on the um, Snapchat and Instagram.

Speaker 2:

And he's like I still have access to like all my stuff. I'm like cool, you know, but like it was a really wonderful experience for him and we just sat and chatted for a few minutes. But I think that's probably the only time I really like in dinnertime when we sit and talk. But other than that I was like go go go.

Speaker 1:

But it was good, it was a good go, go, go. You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, I loved it. Oh my God, I literally want to plan another trip for all of us.

Speaker 2:

Yes, yeah, I mean, we proved that we can do it once, so we can definitely do it again. So let's talk about, um, the people on the ship and how friendly they are. Oh my gosh, like so friendly that, like they want to come over and figure out, like, who you are.

Speaker 1:

Oh my gosh, if you're married, if you're this weird, like I feel like there are cruises for that specific reason and this was not one, this was a very family friendly. Yes, like cruise, and especially like when we have the kids present with us. It'd be different if we were like at the bar or at like an adult event obviously like there's like nightclubs and barns right, then that's like normal. But when we're literally like at the splash pad, like that's fucking weird, like what is going on.

Speaker 2:

I think it's etiquette, really. They just, they, just they just. You know, don't? I remember running into a guy on the elevator? He had a cigar in his hand and I don't know if you were on the elevator with us. I know Gary was and he goes yeah, I'm just trying to get away from my wife and my ex wife. Oh, my god, yes, I was there. I was right. Guy was on a cruise with his wife and his ex-wife. I wish I was able to have a conversation with him and figure out how on earth that came about.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he was just trying to get away, go smoke a cigar and just like get away from it.

Speaker 2:

all that was hilarious.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's weird, that's weird. And I mean I you know every family dynamic is different, and if it works for you, great yeah, that's, that's fucking weird.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, totally, like totally, totally, totally, but um what are you doing? What is that? What are you putting on your forehead?

Speaker 1:

Uh, I don't know, it's like a tie from something. I don't know why, I don't know.

Speaker 2:

I'm like fidgety. Oh so what else? Oh so let's talk about the shush party. That was for me. That was the funnest thing I did, besides play with kaiser in the splash pad. That was so fucking awesome.

Speaker 1:

that was so cool, so I've seen a lot about them. Uh, whenever I would go to like vegas for work, I've always seen like shish parties happening there. Um, but I've never been to one, I've never seen one, only like advertised. So to actually experience it was so cool, it's so funny.

Speaker 2:

It's so weird, yes, but it's such a great idea. Oh my god, totally so. For those of you who don't know what a shish party is you literally go into a club. They give you a set of headphones and there's two channels and each channel has a different song, but they're upbeat, dancing like fun music. Yeah, so like you, you put like. So, for example, we had posted on our uh instagram the a picture of us with our headphones on yeah, um and um, so like. At one point there were people singing um, like kanye west or something, and others were doing the electric slide, but everyone had their headphones on, so like it was just.

Speaker 2:

And then when you take your headphones off, it was just kind of like murmuring and mumbling and yeah, and then you put your headphones on and you're like dancing and grooving and moving to the music. Oh, my god, it was so fucking awesome, like oh I love that it was so funny, it was so fun and the music was so good, yes, yes, and we'll have to post some more pictures of the shish party. I have a bunch of pictures and videos that I can oh my god, the videos are the best.

Speaker 1:

The videos are so hilarious, hilarious but some people in those nightclubs were a little crazy a little risque you definitely get insight into like the world out there and how people are and what they do you know, being home all day, every day. You're kind of like siloed and you're in your own little bubble and your own little way of thinking and exposure to things, but having been on that cruise and being with other families and people from like different states, different countries people are fucking crazy and wild.

Speaker 2:

Oh my god, what's that disney movie? A whole new world. Ariela the mermaid?

Speaker 1:

I'm not sure was crazy oh my god and it's so funny because you know, even me, like, I think of myself as like fun, fun outgoing, like loud. I definitely have like my introverted ways, but like, for the most part, if I'm out in a social scene, like I can be extroverted, like it's fine, but some people were literally just crazy raunchy, just like all these things, and I'm like, oh my God, and they weren't even like people too, which I think is also most fascinating, because you know, I'm obviously in my 40s. So then it's like, okay, you tone down a little bit. You know, obviously you're, you don't do certain things, you're you know you're not the way you used to be, you're not as flexible as you used to be, Like you, just you relax a little bit.

Speaker 2:

Right, oh no.

Speaker 1:

Oh no, there was one lady at the nightclub one night, it was like towards the end of the cruise, who was absolutely insane on the dance floor, just like I don't even have words for it, except for like raunchy and I'm I. It was like towards the end of the night. So I'm going back to my room and I maybe we stopped like to get pizza, and then we got back on the elevator and I see her on the elevator where her two kids.

Speaker 1:

She grabbed her two kids from daycare and I was like that lady's a mother if her kids knew what she was just doing on the dance floor holy shit, oh my god, and that too like daycare.

Speaker 2:

You can put your kids in daycare like from 8 am to 1 am, like what, what? So like I'm gonna put my kids in a daycare center at 12 midnight, like what?

Speaker 1:

yeah no, no, no no oh yeah, she did it. She did it and she enjoyed every second of it.

Speaker 2:

Oh my god, when I when, when bianca told me that the daycare is open till 1 am, I was like holy shit, yeah that's crazy wild, but it's good that you do have that. I mean we utilized it and oh yeah, the moms could get a little break. And you know, the first time not so much, but maverick cried, kaiser cried, that's like okay so when they drop off at daycare they, the parents, get a cell phone.

Speaker 1:

so if there's an emergency, if something happens, the daycare calls the parents on the cell phone or like the walkie talkie. Yeah, so the second day both parents got a call like you got to come get your kid.

Speaker 2:

It was like one. It was like an hour into it, maverick started crying. They couldn't calm him down. As soon as he started crying, kaiser started crying. So they're like all right, we'll try to calm him down, he wouldn't stop crying. No, they're like all right, we'll try to calm him down, he wouldn't stop crying. No, bianca gets the call and we're like okay, yeah, it's like a look into their future. Well, at least they got that little break.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, for sure, it is a good thing to have and I think, you know, as we go again and as the kids get older, it'll get easier because they have like a lot of good activities and stuff for them to do.

Speaker 2:

So, yeah, yeah, they're gonna be older yeah, they're gonna be older and and again it'll be more flexible for them. Yeah, um, what else? Oh, the movies. There was like a movie by the way, every day, every morning every evening. Oh, the cigar under the stars. The guys got to sit on the top deck and smoke cigars and drink whiskey and, you know, enjoy some entertainment, yeah.

Speaker 1:

And so many different things to do for everyone, like there was if you went on a cruise. There's not one thing that you wouldn't find interesting.

Speaker 2:

No, I just. There's so many things like in this ship. I think everyone got on this ship and was like whoa, yeah, holy shit, like where do we start?

Speaker 1:

yeah, and I sent.

Speaker 2:

I sent the group we have a family group chat um and I sent the group of this morning a video of the ship. We went on and I was like oh, we were just here last week and it was everything we saw and everything we did was in that video, like every single thing to the T.

Speaker 1:

And it's so funny because prior to the trip we watched videos just like that and it was so foreign and we were like, okay, we're trying to understand, okay, this is going to be there and this, what to expect. But now, watching it in hindsight after the trip, I'm like, oh, I know everything about that ship yes, I was on that bridge.

Speaker 2:

I was on that deck restaurant. I said I'm thinking about that table yes, yep so crazy. I loved the. Um, we did that hibachi one night oh my god, so good so funny those shows were amazing it was like a comedy in a dinner, a comedy show in a dinner.

Speaker 1:

At one they put on a show yes, they did, and they had it down to a science. They cooked our food and we're done so quick. It was crazy, it was so impressive.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, and the pizza, hello, oh my God.

Speaker 1:

So I was watching TikToks and they told. They said the pizza sucked and the pizza wasn't good. I had that pizza every single day. Every day, I had that pizza.

Speaker 2:

I literally would eat pizza before I went to dinner. I would eat a slice of pizza, like at one point, gary's like Sayah, we're going to dinner in 20 minutes. I'm like I know, but I need it. I just need one slice of this pizza. It's so freaking good. Like at one point I almost ordered a whole box just to have in the room. Like, yeah, think of that, yeah, you could order.

Speaker 2:

You could order a box of pizza oh my god, I did not even think about that when I went to get pizza, there would be people in front of like, yeah, can I have a box of pepperoni and a box of cheese? And I'm like, oh, I really want to do that, but do I? And I didn't do it. But, um, I just went there every day and eat pizza. I was either eating pizza honestly, mostly I was eating pizza or I was at the fish and chips, getting fish and chips and the chicken tenders from there. Oh, my God Holy shit.

Speaker 1:

You're like a chicken tender connoisseur, so for you to say that they were good, that means something that's impressive.

Speaker 2:

Those are good chicken tenders, yeah, chicken tenders on my jam, and if I get a bad chicken tender, you're gonna know about it and I'll tell you right now. The ones on this ship were amazing, like oh my god, and it just I don't know, I just and we are like our ice cream cone, every ice cream cone, like there was literally a guy standing at the ice cream machine, like serving ice cream and handing it to you serving ice cream.

Speaker 1:

That was his job, all day just serving ice cream cones.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you bet your ass. I went up and got an ice cream cone best job in the world.

Speaker 1:

Also, like, who doesn't love making people happy? Oh my god speaking of making people happy?

Speaker 2:

how about the washy washyhy? Wash your hands, guys.

Speaker 1:

Oh my god, some of the jobs that these people have are just amazing, amazing, like your job is to stand at the start of the buffet the food hall At the restaurant at the doors, at the front doors, sing to people to wash their hands in renditions of songs that, like we already know, yeah, amazing.

Speaker 2:

Yep. So the buffet when you first walk in well, actually, when you first get to the buffet, there's a make your own, um, bloody mary station. Right, you can get mimosas or bloody marys make your own, with all the fixings. Then you walk through the doors of the buffet and there's a gentleman there and a woman wearing a sash that says wash your hands and all sparkly, beautiful, like like a sash you would wear on your birthday. Yeah, and he's got the guitar and he's, you know, singing sweet Caroline, but he's throwing in wash your hands, wash, wash, wash line, but he's throwing in wash your hands, wash, wash, wash.

Speaker 2:

And as you're walking past them, there's sinks on either side of the restaurant, yeah, and they want people to wash their hands before going in, which I thought was incredible because yeah the cleanliness and the like. The the hygiene right. Hygiene is very well. I don't know if I'm using the right words, but were impeccable. Like there were PRL hand sanitizing things everywhere. They encouraged people to wash their hands before going in to eat at the buffet and they literally, like I said, had a guy singing all freaking day Like that was his job, singing every rendition.

Speaker 2:

Like you said, um this the like when you go back to your room after the? Um, the attendants were in there cleaning it up everything like you can smell the cleanliness on that ship. You can be walking down the deck, walking at the pool, walking in the elevators. Like you can just smell how clean everything was. Yeah, and they're like ninjas.

Speaker 1:

I didn't really see people cleaning, but you knew they were there. Oh yeah, you can smell. You're like, oh this, I didn't really see people cleaning, but you knew they were there.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, you can smell. You're like oh, this elevator was just clean because, like, it smells amazing like yeah well they, they were like very stealthy about it because it's almost like they're probably instructed like just stay out of people's way so now they probably have this whole like set way to do it, where they're getting in and getting out, getting everything done and it's.

Speaker 2:

And what we learned is that on the ship, everyone has a job and that is their only job. Yeah, on like like gary went on a um tasting tour, um, on the ship, there was like a thing you could do.

Speaker 1:

You can, you can oh yeah, he went like behind the restaurant and got like a kitchen behind the scenes of the kitchen.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, there was like they served food, as you were like seeing the behind the scenes of how the kitchen works and how the ship works, um, and he said the kitchen was so clean you could eat off the floors crazy and and like they have a woman that just you know the cheese. Remember seeing the cheese balls with like the, like the. It was like probably not paprika, parsley or something.

Speaker 2:

They were like little round cheese balls, yeah, like, if you got a charcuterie and have that little. There was a woman on the ship that just rolled cheese balls all day, like that was her job every day. Rolling cheese balls, yep, yeah, like, every like. Like all the bartenders, all they did was bartend all day. That was her job every day. Rolling cheese balls Yep, all the bartenders, all they did was bartend. They would just hop from bar to bar to bar to bar to bar.

Speaker 2:

It's not like, okay, you're a bartender by night, you're a fucking housekeeper by day. It wasn't like that. It was like the housekeeping crew was the housekeeping crew. The bartending crew was the bartending crew. The kitchen what else did gary was telling me, like um, um, like the eggs. Like there was one person that just made eggs and cooked eggs all morning and then in the afternoon for for um the, for the lunch buffet. He had another job, but it was cooking something for the like right, it's just insane, yeah and like I said, everyone has their job and that's their job.

Speaker 2:

That's it.

Speaker 1:

They don't like push them around a different right, which is good because it makes them like an expert in that area and it makes them like not overwhelmed, it's not super complicated, like this is what you focus on, and then I think, too, that allows them to provide, like, good service and be helpful, because they're not multitasking and being pulled in a lot of different directions. Yeah, yeah, it was great. Whatever they're doing, they're doing it right.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he said. He said it was very clean, very organized, like behind the scenes, very clean, very organized, while maintained. He said it was. It was awesome, like probably one of the cleanest kitchens he's ever seen. That's so cool. Yeah, and they have people that just clean the kitchen, like there's a staff that all they do is clean the kitchen all day, like that's it. They don't do anything else.

Speaker 1:

You know what I mean, so smart.

Speaker 2:

And, like you said, it makes them an expert at their job. They go in there with the mindset of this is what I'm doing all day, I don't have to stress about having a million other things added to my plate, and they can do it to the best of their ability. So, yeah, that that was really cool, and I think that's how they're able to like keep everything so like like organized and so clean and cause they just one's just doing their thing. You know, yeah, yeah, so it was awesome. It was awesome Really, really. You know, yeah, yeah, so it was awesome.

Speaker 2:

It was really really, really, really awesome yeah.

Speaker 1:

The trip was a success.

Speaker 2:

Courtney won money in the casino, gary won money in the casino, scott won money in the casino. I was like guys, what the hell I know.

Speaker 1:

I was right next to Courtney when she won and she was like, she was like nervous. She was like, um, I like what's going on? Like did you break it? What's happening? She's like I think I won and then it just kept like dinging, digging, dinging and dinging, like her, um, what her like cash prize had just kept going up and she's like I honestly don't know when this is gonna stop going up and she's like I honestly don't know when this is gonna stop.

Speaker 1:

Oh my god, I wish I was able to see that. Yeah, they ended up leaving the ship with over six hundred dollars yeah that's. Can you imagine? Between?

Speaker 2:

her win, his win, and obviously they put money in. But, right, we left with a good, you know, a little bit of money too, which I was excited about. Um, I'm trying to think, oh, my god, oh, and the pictures. I think we have like over a hundred plus pictures from our trip, between everybody like, but you know what I'm gonna say about the pictures.

Speaker 1:

You know what I'm gonna say about the picture? What are you gonna say about the pictures? We didn't get one family picture. We didn't get one family picture. It's bullshit.

Speaker 2:

You know it was funny. When I saw all the pictures and I was going through them in the group chat, the family group chat, I was gonna say, yep, every single picture but that one family picture. But then I'm like I'm gonna add fuel to the fire no family picture.

Speaker 1:

And there was one time where we were gonna get it and everyone was like I forget where we were, but everyone was like no, I don't look good, I don't look this, I don't look that. I'm like guys, who cares? Can we just take one picture all together? Yeah, no, we'll do it tomorrow, we'll do it tonight.

Speaker 2:

We never did it we never did it, but we do have enough pictures to prove we were all there as a family.

Speaker 1:

Not good enough. This was like a monumental moment.

Speaker 2:

Do we have any like good cropper picture croppers in the family? We can probably crop a bunch of those pictures together and make it look like we're all in a family photo If someone could do that, I would be happy, Okay we'll put it out there to the group and see. See who has the expertise to crop us all into one picture. They have over 100 pictures to choose from. They can't say they don't have enough photos.

Speaker 1:

I know, I know but yeah, that was an incredible.

Speaker 2:

That's probably one of the best vacations I've had. Besides, when I went to london and paris, that was my one of my top vacations and I look forward to doing another family vacation, even if it's not a cruise, even if we all go to an island together or yeah, we all go somewhere. Just I, just I want us to do this again and go somewhere together.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, 100%, and I think we're all prepared Like now. We all have our passports, we've all been through it.

Speaker 2:

We all know what to expect. Yeah, yeah, I think, I think it's totally possible yep, yep, and if we start planning it now, we have a whole year to get it together.

Speaker 1:

Not for nothing we pulled that trip together in like three, two and a half, three months yeah, and that was for some of us, so the others pulled it together in like one month yeah, so we're good at planning we are.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we're good at like last minute, like planning, you know, like yeah.

Speaker 1:

I would definitely do it again.

Speaker 2:

It was such a success, oh it's happening, believe me, I don't know where we're going, but it's happening, yeah, I don't know if it'll be another cruise because I only want to do Royal Caribbean and I was like looking into the different cruises and like the seven day is a lot. Nobody really is interested in doing the seven day.

Speaker 2:

And the five day is, you know, unless we go to like Bermuda, we can leave out of New York and go to Bermuda. There's a few options, but I mean other than that I'd be fine with going anywhere at this point. I just love how we were all together and like how you know what I mean Like and you know what I really love the most. We all got to bond with different people in the family that don't typically get to talk Like. I got to sit with Egan for like an hour and just talk about nothing and just hang out with him, which I don't get to do that a lot because he works a lot and you know he's got a lot going on, and so Olivia and Gary got to sit and talk and her and Scott got to know each other better and like it was really nice.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you know what I mean. It was good, it was good, good, good stuff.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I totally agree. Yeah, good stuff. Good, it was good. I totally agree. Yeah, it was it was fun. Yeah, 2025, here we come let's do it, we'll have to like, take recommendations of where people want to go and figure it out from there okay, yeah, we'll have like a.

Speaker 2:

We know what we can do. We can do like a. Everybody write it down, yeah, put it in a thing and we shuffle it and be like this is where we're going.

Speaker 1:

Yep, I love that idea.

Speaker 2:

I love it. Pick out of a hat or a bucket Like this is it. This is what we're doing. Let's go, yes.

Speaker 1:

We should definitely do that next get together, yep, for sure. So funny. All right, I think it's Bloody Mary time. It's 1111.
